Art is a play of forms, light, and imagination. In each of my works. i explore the boundaries of possibility, transforming materials into unique sculptures, paintings, and light compositions. Welcome to a world where creativity takes on new dimensions.
ABOUT
Teodosio is a shadow artist, sculptor, and painter based in Athens, Greece. In his work, he positions himself as a mediator between Imagination and Reality. His art transcends traditional perception, inviting the viewer to see the world from a new perspective.
Using material, light, and shadow, he constructs individual or multiple objects, arranging them to form a sculptural composition. By sculpting the objects, he creates an effect that corresponds with the projected shadow, using a single light source integrated into his work. The complete artistic creation is revealed in the shadow when the light is turned on. His works consist of both the solid materials that shape the sculpture and the intangible elements of light and the shadow it produces.
Teodosio is one of the few artists worldwide who engage in the art of shadow sculpture. His works are exhibited in the Paradox Illusion Museum in New York, Paris, London, Mumbai, Shanghai, Helsinki, and Berlin, as well as in private collections in Greece and abroad. His pieces have been featured in print and digital media internationally.
Teodosio’s shadows serve as a reminder that reality is multilayered, and much depends on respective and the light that falls upon it. There is something deeply symbolic in this: how harmony emerges from chaos, how the invisibe becomes visible…
